WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND
WHEEL BALANCING

Wheel Alignment
Having correct wheel alignment helps your tyres perform properly and help them last longer. It can also improve handling and keep your vehicle from pulling in one direction or vibrating strangely on the road.
Signs of problems with your wheel alignment are:
-
The vehicle pulls to one side
-
The steering wheel doesn’t return to center
-
The steering wheel is off center
-
Excessive tire wear in certain spots
-
Loose steering
Wheel Balancing
Tire balancing is important, if wheels are equal in weight as possible, the tire will roll smoothly. This helps the tyre wear evenly, for you to achieve your tyres longest life. Balancing also contributes to a smoother drive. Imbalanced tires will wobble or hop up and down, which causes it to vibrate. Over time wheels loose their natural balance.
This can be caused by a number of different reasons:
-
The weight distribution of your vehicle
-
Road conditions
-
Tread wear can cause an unevenness in the tires, which can then lead to further uneven tread wear. As a result, the vehicle might shake or vibrate while in use.
